Generator Docking Station

Trystar Generator Docking Stations are designed to safely connect and disconnect a portable generator to a building, lift station, or portable piece of equipment. During a power outage, a generator docking station allows you to quickly return power without an electrician, which helps protect your building from the risks and costs of power loss.

Generator Docking Stations can also be used to support temporary and emergency power needs for pandemic response, mass casualty disasters and other urgent needs, including medical testing/screening centers and temporary hospitals.

Usually, during a power failure or emergency, electricians are in high-demand, resulting in shortages and additional fees. Trystar generator docking stations make it easy for you to restore power to your building with minimal delay.

Dual-Purpose Generator Docking Station

The Trystar dual-purpose docking station allows you to connect a portable generator and/or a load bank simultaneously. This saves time and money when the permanent generator needs to be serviced, because it eliminates the labor involved in hard wiring into the main breaker. On our most common dual-purpose docking station, we use the industry standard Kirk Key mechanism to transfer power from permanent generator to portable. In most cases, this unit sits right next to a permanent generator and the associated automatic transfer switch, however we offer a number of enclosures including wall-mount, flush-mount and pad-mount. This product is highly customizable, with over a dozen available optional features and add-ons, custom colors and UV-printed graphics.

Dual-Purpose Generator Docking Stations can also be used to support temporary and emergency power needs for pandemic response, mass casualty disasters and other urgent needs, including medical testing/screening centers and temporary hospitals.

Triple Breaker Docking Station

Trystar’s triple breaker addition to the Dual Purpose family allows the inclusion of a third dedicated breaker for the temporary load bank. The Dual Purpose family allows the safe, fast, and legal connection of a temporary generator and portable load bank in compliance with the requirements in NEC 2017 and later editions. Avoiding costly temporary modifications of the existing electrical equipment and ensuring your facility can respond immediately to the next outage by restoring normal operations safely and legally.

Manual Transfer Switch

This product is a manual transfer switch with the camlok connections built into the same enclosure. Typically, in lower amperage situations, this product can replace a double throw transfer switch with a secondary camlok connection cabinet mounted adjacent to the switch. We incorporated both cabinets into one, saving time and money on any installation.

The Trystar Manual Transfer Switch is here for all power needs, including emergency life safety situations like pandemic response. This docking station is equipped to aid with powering facilities like temporary medical testing stations and hospitals.

Automatic Transfer Switch

All it takes is one severe thunderstorm, and your utility power can instantly go offline. The ability to automatically and quickly switch to back-up power can be a huge time-saver and money-saver. It’s also a safety issue, because having the proper generator connections reduces the risk of injury to utility workers trying to restore power. Obviously, maintaining power during an outage is mandatory in life and safety applications like pandemic response and other urgent needs, including medical testing/screening centers and temporary hospitals. However, it’s also a financial consideration when restoring power quickly can protect you and your business from an expensive and possibly dangerous power loss.

The Trystar Automatic Transfer Switch gives you peace of mind and the confidence that your backup power will kick in automatically, no matter the time of day or night, even when maintenance personnel are not on site.
